My Husband and I were talking through our beautiful day and agreed that Heather made the day so special for us. The personal ceremony and beautiful words she spoke made the day most memorable. Our guests continued throughout the day commenting on her amazing work. We felt so loved and cared for through out the process and would recommend her to any one looking for a ceremony that centers around love, because that is what she truly brings to the day.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

In 2009, I was asked to co-officate a friend's wedding. The lead officiant was my dear friend and mentor, Jim Spencer, an interfaith minister who had always co-officiated with his wife until she had passed a couple years prior. For years, he and his wife would regale me with stories of their many weddings. I never imagined I would have the chance to have the experience myself.
Standing in the radiant sunshine of the marriage altar that Fall day in 2009 (pictured) was special for many reasons. Jim later asked me to become his permanent side-kick and I joyfully accepted. He placed our names as co-officiants on the rolls at two local high-volume venues, and then suddenly passed away three weeks after our initial ceremony. With the strong encouragement of friends and the broader community (who adored how Jim and June officiated), it felt like this path had been prepared for me.
A year later, I found the Celebrant Foundation and Institute, and they provided me with valuable resources, greater credentialing, and a community of colleagues committed to showcasing the love stories of our clients in a way that leaves them and their loved ones incredibly satisfied.
WHERE I'VE BEEN.
I've spent the last 20 years of my life committed to love......learning about it, being molded, shaped & healed by it, sharing it with others, and basking in its glow. Luminous Ceremonies was born out of a desire to thread more joy into the world through creating ceremonies that radiate the light of Love. It is an honor to work with couples and families to create their ideal ceremony for all occasions.
Blessed with a wonderful community of family and friends spread around the world, a beautiful pup, and 18 nieces, nephews and Godchildren, and my future husband, it is impossible to feel anything less than overwhelmed by love in my own life! I feel most at home here in the Rocky Mountains, but love traveling all over the world. I am a creative writer, hiker, and now I am a bride planning my own July 2020 wedding. It has been fascinating being on this side of things - especially as we navigate this unprecedented time in history. |
Don't just have an amazing ceremony - so many couples have loved finding out that our work together doesn't have to end after the wedding. I create meaningful ceremonies to mark, celebrate, and honor important milestones in their lives, from birth through end of life. And I'm an Integral Life Coach, as well. I'm wildly passionate about helping women and couples live life as the best version of themselves. Find out more by clicking the button below to go to my coaching website!

WHAT I LOVE MOST
My Precious Pup
My best fur bud Lucy is always down for a hike in the mountains, cuddles on the couch, or helping me with my Zoom coaching calls!
|
My Mountain Home
I feel most alive in the mountains, which is why I've chosen to live at 9,200 feet in the most charming town of Buena Vista, Colorado.
|
My Handsome Honey
The love of my life, Michael, tied our own knot this past July with a much smaller ceremony than we'd planned, but absolutely perfect.
